After Race 5 – Las Vegas Motor Speedway
🥇 1. Coulter Clark ⬆️ (+1)
R4: Win | R5: Win
Clark becomes the first driver this season to build a true momentum streak. Back-to-back victories at Phoenix and Las Vegas immediately vault him to the top spot.
What makes the Vegas win impressive is that it wasn’t a pole-to-win scenario—Clark started 7th and drove forward, controlling the race late and leading 47 laps.
Right now, the championship runs through Clark.
🥈 2. Chris Romano ⬇️ (-1)
R3: 2nd | R4: 2nd | R5: Solid run
Romano slides one spot only because Clark has caught fire.
But Romano remains the most consistently competitive driver in the field. Week after week he’s running near the front, and that type of consistency keeps him firmly in the championship fight.
🥉 3. Jordane Whyte ⬆️ (+1)
R3: Win | R5: 2nd
Whyte continues stacking strong results.
His runner-up finish at Las Vegas gives him another podium and reinforces his reputation as one of the most reliable front-runners in the series.
Whyte may not have the current momentum of Clark—but he’s quietly building a championship-caliber season.
4. Matthew McMeekin ⬇️ (-1)
R3: 98 Laps Led | Consistent Front Runner
McMeekin hasn’t had a breakout win recently, but his ability to stay competitive across different tracks keeps him firmly inside the top tier.
Few drivers have shown the same race control potential this season.
5. Kameron M. Combs ⬆️ (+1)
If Power Rankings rewarded raw speed alone, Combs might already have a win.
At Las Vegas he started 25th and charged to 4th, gaining 21 positions, one of the most impressive drives of the year.
The speed is undeniable. The only thing missing is a victory.
6. Robert Hissong ⬆️ (+3)
The biggest climber this week.
Hissong’s 3rd-place finish at Las Vegas was one of the race’s standout performances. Starting 10th and finishing on the podium shows the kind of racecraft that can quickly move a driver up the rankings.
7. Justin Young ⬇️ (-1)
Young’s early-season win still keeps him inside the top ten, but recent races haven’t reinforced that momentum.
He remains dangerous—but needs another strong finish soon.
8. Gregory Vadnais ⬇️ (-1)
Vadnais continues to quietly produce solid finishes, including another top ten at Las Vegas.
He hasn’t had the breakthrough result recently, but consistency keeps him inside the rankings.
9. Kristopher Foote ⬆️ (+2)
Foote’s 6th-place run at Las Vegas was another steady performance that continues his upward trajectory.
Clean races and solid finishes are slowly moving him up the order.
10. Douglas Scalice ⬆️ (NEW)
Scalice enters the rankings after one of the best drives of the race.
Starting 23rd and finishing 5th, his Las Vegas run was one of the most impressive improvements in the field and signals a driver gaining confidence.
